I am a career advisor with a 28-year background in marketing and executive search. I help professionals to identify their unique value in the marketplace and explore alternative careers. I then provide the tools they need to promote themselves more effectively with prospective employers.
I am the author of In The Driver’s Seat: Work-Life Navigation Skills for Young Adults, a book and program designed to equip young adults as early as high school to navigate their career path and achieve their goals. The program provides a systematic approach to help teenagers identify their natural aptitudes and interests, while exploring how they could fit in the world of work, and applying that learning to productive summer internships and work experiences.
Previously I was Chief Marketing Officer of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), the global trade group for the executive search industry. Prior to that I spent 18 years in international marketing and branding, new business development, and public relations. I have a cross-cultural background and speak French, Italian and Portuguese.
I am on the advisory board and am a mentor, trainer and the de facto head of marketing for Community Training & Employment Resources, a New York City based organization providing intensive job readiness training, private sector partnering to identify positions, and ongoing career management and mentoring services, to unemployed adults.
